Millions tuned in to watch Animal Adventure Park's giraffe cam and keep up with April's seemingly endless pregnancy. In fact, her pregnancy was so long that it broke the Internet.

People went a little off the rails. Fans came up with conspiracy theories that the whole thing was just an elaborate April Fools joke, and one YouTuber even made a song about April to pass the time.

But finally, after what felt like years, April gave birth to a son named Tajiri.

But that left those who'd become so entranced in April's life wondering what would happen next. Would April and her son do something? Or would they do nothing at all?

For many of her fans, it didn't really matter as long as they could keep up with her.

Eventually though our obsessive interest seemed to fade, and April the giraffe news had all but vanished. That is, until it was recently announced that she may be pregnant again. Will the joy of another giraffe birth be enough to carry us into 2018?
