Is your dating experience starting to feel a little complicated?Mystery Archives You're in luck. OKCupid is launching two fresh new features that could improve your dating chances in this complex new reality.

The biggest renovation will bring mobile users a whole new way of viewing their potential matches. Instead of just seeing a photo, you’ll now get a DoubleTake. It's a new layout that offers multiple photos and profile highlights. So as you swipe by, you’ll get more info to go on.

OkCupid’s CEO Elie Seidman explained in a press release, “We know that each person is much more than just a photo, and our new features are dedicated to highlighting their uniqueness and individuality.”

This should come as a relief to those who are tired of being judged by their photo alone, and it’s proven very effective in beta testing. By slowing down the swiping process with DoubleTake, mutual matches have tripled.

These will address everything from whether you believe climate change is real to whether you’ve ever ghosted someone. You can even weigh in on where you stand on the Muslim ban. It’s a fast and effective way to ensure you're both on the same page politically and culturally.

Along with these features, the platform will also get a bold new look in March -- featuring illustrations by artist Jay Daniel Wright and new typography. This whole makeover is meant to give what is now one of the classic dating apps a fresh new face, which could make them more competitive in what is now a very crowded market.
